Avoiding Undesirable Backlit Results with Barbieri Spectro LFP
The Problem:
Charts with a solid color border can negatively affect the accuracy of the Spectro LFP’s transmissive reference readings.
The Solution:
Trim or remove any dark or colored borders around your chart. The measurement area should be clean and free from color contamination around the perimeter, especially on the left and top sides.
Example 1 – Incorrect!
The areas outlined in red in this chart show a dark border surrounding the patches. This is not suitable for transmissive measurement.
Example 2 – Correct!
In this example, the dark border has been removed from the left and top edges. This layout ensures a more accurate backlit measurement.
