Calibration targets do not match between the Print and Calibrator

Calibration targets do not match between the Print and Calibrator

Issue:

Patches on your test chart have changed unexpectedly, resulting in discrepancies between the printed chart and what is displayed on your screen.

Possible Causes and Solutions:

  1. Incorrect Measurement Mode

    1. Please note the article on our limitation surrounding this issue here: Managing Multiple PMM sessions

  2. Custom Page Size Settings:

    • Cause: The page size defaults to 'custom,' but once you adjust to a specific size, you can no longer revert to 'custom.' This can cause mismatches in the layout of your test chart based on how large of a media size you choose.
    • Solution: Do not alter the page setup unless absolutely necessary after having already printed something. If changes are required, confirm the original page settings and ensure they match. If you were using Custom size (default) and no longer see this available, go back to linear section if required, export the measurement date and create a new pmm and do not select page setup (allow to stay default).

By following these steps, you can maintain the accuracy and consistency of your test charts.
