If a setting or file that was previously saved in Layout Preferences is no longer available, it can prevent Layout from opening. To resolve this issue, you need to reset your preferences by removing the Layout.xml file.
Steps to Reset Layout Preferences
For PC:
- Navigate to the following location:
- C:\Users\Public\PrintFactory\Settings
- Locate and delete the PrintFactory Layout.xml file.
For Mac:
Navigate to the following location:
- /Users/Shared/PrintFactory/Settings/
- Locate and delete the PrintFactory Layout.xml file.
- After removing the Layout.xml file, restart Layout. This should resolve any issues caused by missing settings or files.
