Canon Colorado diagnostic logs
To analyze not properly printing jobs on the Canon Colorado it can be needed to pull the diagnostic logs.
Steps:
- Open webbrowser to http://<printerip>
- Navigate to Support tab > Troubleshooting
- Click "Create log file with report files"
- Click "Create log file with report files" in the popup-window
- After generating download the top entry (..zip)
- Inside the ZIP there is a syslog.1
The last lines in the syslog will reveal the cause of the problem. Usually missing media ID.
The SysAdm/technician password at Canon HQ is : 71617000 but might be different locally.
