Converting Objects to Outlines

You can turn objects into a set of compound paths or outlines.

How to convert objects to outlines
    1. Select the object(s) which you want to convert.
    2. Choose Extra > Outline. The Outline dialog is displayed.
        
                    A = Join option
                    B = Conversion option
                    C = Distance from original
                    D = Number of outlines
    3. Select the Join option to determine the corner of an angle (Sharp / Round / Flat).
    4. Select the Conversion option to decide where to place the outlines.
    5. Select a number of outlines.
    6. Click OK.
