Reinstalling the application on a "Clean" system - macOS


NOTE: If your previous information is not backed up, these steps can result in loss of data. Please contact support before taking these steps.

Before making a clean installation you must be 100% certain that your Cloud connectivity is intact, this is to ensure your resources(profiles, cut marks and others) and backups are uploaded to the Cloud. Failure to do so could result in the loss of your data if you perform the steps below. You can check your Cloud connectivity in the Software Manager by ensuring two green ticks as per the screenshot below. If you are not certain, please contact support at support@printfactory.cloud



Next check your RIP uploads & downloads are complete (0/0)



  1. First make a backup of your settings: RIP > Backup Settings and if you use custom “Templates” or “Labels” save the files..
  2. Deactivate the license.
  3. Remove/rename the software’s folder from Current user > Applications.
  4. From OSX > Users > Shared > Delete the Aurelon folder, PrintFactory folder and Hub folderPlease make sure that the license has been previously deactivated before deleting the HUB folder.
  5. Run the installer and follow the installation steps.
  6. Restore the backup settings in Rip and if used, the custom, “Templates” or “Labels”.
