Reactive inks filter

Reactive inks filter

Measuring products and processes using reactive inks on textile can lead to visual effects not picked up by the photo-spectrometer. To remove that effect use the Reactive Ink filter (R0) while measuring.

The Reactive Ink filter (R0) corrects the measurements in such way that colors seen by the photo-spectrometer are mapped to results that are understood by the human eye.

The R0 filter can found in the photo-spectrometer settings in Calibrator. Go to Preferences, Photo-spectrometer tab and select R0 from the Conditions settings.

If you have created profiles using the R0 filter also remember to switch on the R0 filter when measuring spot color, iterating the profile or certifying jobs.
