Roland Cutter Setting adjustment

Roland Cutter Setting adjustment

This article provides a quick guide on how to adjust the settings on your Roland cutter to ensure that the coordinate system works optimally. By default, the home position is set on the left side of the cutter. However, for better alignment with the media and to match the standard setup used by other vendors, it's recommended to shift the home position to the right side.

Procedure

Follow the steps below to change the home position from the left side to the right side:
  1. Navigate to the main menu on your Roland cutter.
  2. Select the Condition option.
  3. From the Condition menu, select Rotate.
  4. In the Rotate settings, choose 90dgr.
By following these steps, you will successfully change the home position to the right side of the cutter.
Note: This information was sourced from the Roland GR-540/650 manual.
Adjusting the home position to the right side of the Roland cutter ensures better alignment with the media and consistency with setups used by other vendors. Always refer to your Roland GR-540/650
