Installation on Windows (Legacy EXE Installer)

Installation on Windows (Legacy EXE Installer)

1. Visit https://app.printfactory.cloud/ and log in with your license username and password. The installer is located in the Support > Downloads menu.

2. Download and run the Installer (.exe) Make sure you are installing from the administrator account or have the administrator credentials if you are logged in from another account.

3. Accept the message that allows installation:

4. The process will begin with the installation. If you wish, you can view details of the installed components.

5. The installation will install all PrintFactory components. The installation path is C:\Program Files\PrintFactory. Depending on your system (32 or 64 bits), the folder may vary; for example, C:\Program Files (x86).

6. The program will also install some user local configuration components in the C:\Users\Public location, including the HUB, PrintFactory, and Aurelon Tray folders.

- HUB: License information
- PrintFactory: Store up all application configuration information
- Aurelon Tray: Manages license synchronization.

7. You will see the icons installed on the desktop for the PrintFactory applications. Depending on your license or product, you will be able to use them.

8. Once the installation is complete, the software will search for your open session at https://app.printfactory.cloud/ and use this information to validate the license. It will then open the Software Manager with two green checkmarks, indicating that the software is installed and licensed.

9. If you have two licenses, a dialog box will appear before this so you can select the license you are going to install.

10. After this you will be able to open the RIP and begin the driver configuration process. For more information:  Quick-start-guide
